The aim is to reach the end square before the other players. Landing at the bottom of a ladder moves a player further up the board, while landing on the head of a snake sends the playing piece down to a lower square. The simple roll and move rules make Snakes And Ladders straightforward to learn while the position of the snakes and ladders can quickly change who is leading the game.

This John Adams edition includes a large bonded and laminated playing board together with the pieces needed to play. The laminated surface gives the traditional numbered board a durable finish for repeated games. Playing pieces are included for up to four players, together with dice and instructions explaining how to set up and play.

Snakes And Ladders is based entirely around movement across the board rather than cards, questions or complicated scoring.
