Harry Potter Mandrake Terrarium Kit

Product Description

The Harry Potter Mandrake Terrarium Kit from Clementoni contains the materials for making and growing a Mandrake based on the magical plant from the Harry Potter films. The kit includes plaster and moulds for forming a 3D Mandrake, paints and a brush for decorating the figure, and a plant pot for assembling the finished display. Grass seeds and growing materials are included, allowing real grass to grow above the Mandrake figure. Decorative leaves and stickers complete the Harry Potter themed plant pot.

The activity begins by preparing the plaster mixture and pouring it into the supplied moulds to create the Mandrake's body and roots. Once the plaster has hardened, the figure can be painted using the included paints and brush. The completed Mandrake is positioned inside the plant pot with its decorative leaves and growing materials. The grass seeds are planted and watered so that grass grows from the top of the Mandrake. Stickers can be applied to the pot to complete the display. The kit is based on the Mandrake featured in the Hogwarts Herbology lessons, where the magical plants are grown in pots and identified by their root shaped bodies.
