Product Description
Build a compact model of the Spitfire Mk. XVI Bubbletop with this 152 piece COBI building set. The 1:48 scale aircraft captures the rounded bubble canopy and familiar Spitfire profile, while printed details add the markings directly to the blocks.
Clear illustrated instructions guide builders through each stage of the assembly. Once complete, the wheels rotate so the aircraft can be moved into position, and the finished model measures 20 cm long, 21 cm across the wings and 9 cm high.
Introduced in 1944, the Mk. XVI was a late WWII variant of the British Spitfire fighter plane. Its bubble canopy improved the pilot’s visibility and gave this version its distinctive shape.
