Product Description

Investigate rockets, fizzing reactions, pressure and noisy experiments with the John Adams Booms Bangs Fizzes Science Kit. The set contains equipment and materials for 10 experiments exploring why things fizz, froth, launch and make noise.

The experiments include launching a film canister rocket, firing a jet engine balloon screamer, building and firing a bottle spaceship, exploding a rock salt depth charge and creating an erupting volcano. Each activity uses practical equipment from the kit to demonstrate a different scientific reaction or physical effect.

The kit includes citric acid and sodium bicarbonate for fizzing reactions, along with rock salt, red colouring, a rocket canister, volcano mould, plastic bottle, balloon, beaker, syringe and measuring scoop. Safety goggles are also supplied for use during the experiments.

Additional rocket components include a nose cone, rocket legs, cone lid, trapdoor, bung, needle valve and valve tube. A straw, paper banger, lunch polybag and instruction leaflet are also included, giving the set the equipment needed for the different experiments described in the guide.

The Booms Bangs Fizzes Science Kit is suitable from 8 years and the retail box measures approximately 32 x 28 x 8 cm.
