The kit includes plaster and moulds for forming a 3D Mandrake, paints and a brush for decorating the figure, and a plant pot for assembling the finished display. Grass seeds and growing materials are included, allowing real grass to grow above the Mandrake figure. Decorative leaves and stickers complete the Harry Potter themed plant pot.

The activity begins by preparing the plaster mixture and pouring it into the supplied moulds to create the Mandrake's body and roots. Once the plaster has hardened, the figure can be painted using the included paints and brush. The completed Mandrake is positioned inside the plant pot with its decorative leaves and growing materials. The grass seeds are planted and watered so that grass grows from the top of the Mandrake. Stickers can be applied to the pot to complete the display. The kit is based on the Mandrake featured in the Hogwarts Herbology lessons, where the magical plants are grown in pots and identified by their root shaped bodies.

Key Features

Harry Potter Mandrake terrarium making kit

Create a 3D Mandrake using plaster and moulds

Paint the Mandrake with the supplied paints and brush

Plant real grass seeds above the Mandrake figure

Plant pot for assembling the finished Mandrake display

Decorative leaves and supports included

Stickers for decorating the plant pot

Grass growing materials included

Illustrated instructions for casting, painting and planting

Officially licensed Harry Potter product

Product Details

Brand: Clementoni

Product: Harry Potter Mandrake Terrarium Kit

Item Number: 19458

Barcode: 8005125194582

Licence: Harry Potter

Product Type: Craft and Plant Growing Kit

Activities: Plaster casting, painting, decorating and planting

Included Materials: Plaster, Mandrake moulds, paints, brush, plant pot, grass seeds, growing materials, decorative leaves, stickers and instructions

Age Suitability: Suitable for ages 7 years and above.

Explore Harry Potter and Arts & Crafts at ToyTown Longford

Explore the Harry Potter collection at ToyTown Longford for toys, building sets, figures and accessories based on the Harry Potter books and films.
